jc4me: What do you think???

Well, this is kinda weird, But I keep having dreams about people. They are people I know and usually when I have dreams about them, something is wrong. For example, my friends mum is like my own mum, and the other night I had a dream and all I could see was her face adn she was laughing and then she just cried and cried. I found out the next day that she had had a big fight with her husband and it had got ugly.

Also I keep hearing someone calling my name. I will be on the bus, or somewhere busy, or where I am concerntrating (like in the middle of an exam) and I just hear this girl calling me. I'm not sure what it's all about.

So yea, if anyone has any ideas, please comment!

From what I was told when you hear someone call your name and its no one, then supposedly, its the devil calling to you.

I heard this about 4 years ago when I heard people calling my name at my old job, where I was pretty much isolated and nobody was around even close to be calling me. I told a friend whose mother was in to that sort of thing, and thats what I was told.

wow that's weird... I asked my friends mum who's into this stuff, and she said that it's a warning... I dunno!

cerapearl: Hi there

I feel for you. I don't like having voices floating around me. I'm paranoid as it is. It can be frustrating, because it travels. Does she say anything in particular to you? I don't know what to make of it, because I'm still trying to come to terms with what goes on around me. My mom calls it a gift, the feeling and the knowing. It can be a nightmare, how does it make you feel? I'd really like to hear more if you wouldn't mind sharing. :)

Um well yea of course I'll share! hehe!! Well yea, it's really weird, cause I'll be like hard out concerntrating and then I hear this voice, and it's just like this little girls voice and she keeps on calling me.
I asked my mates mum who is into readings and stuff and she told me that it was a warning and that someone was going to hurt me. I am really a bit confused with it all. I dont quite know whether I would call it a gift aye... Sometimes its just plain frustrating! Yep, I'm pretty paranoid about it all, and I reckon it's because there is a fear of the unknown, and to me, this is all pretty unknown! So hmmm..... I'm not sure aye... So yea I'd be keen to hear about your experiences if you dont mind sharing too! have an amazing day!! xx

I've never known what to make of that random voice that calls my name. I actually suspect it's something biological, in the brain, because I've never sensed any meaning in it, and I tend to sense what meaning there is in anything.

Of course, some people's psychic-ness is geared specifically towards hearing, it's called Clairaudience.

jupiters_galaxy: Hearing Voices

I actually have had voices call my name my whole life, various voices, from men to women to my dead father to angels, and they are all related to incidents that I could've prevented. Such as, they called my name once when I lived in Dallas, and I unfortunately ignored them, then one of my pets was killed. I was going to take the pet with me to my mom's work, and I didn't do it. I've always heard the voices as a warning.

People call my name all the time. I don't have to set an alarm clock in the mornings to get myself up because, I can be asleep, and someone will tell me to wake up and when I do wake up, I see that it is the exact time that I would have set my alarm for. I was at work one day all by myself, with no one around who could talk to me, and I heard this male voice say "What are you doing?" right next to my chair. I searched around the office for 10 min, but no one was there! When I was little, I would visit my grandparents' house, and complain to my mother about a woman's voice coming from the back bedroom asking me to go into that room. Not too long ago, I learned that in that part of the house, when my grandfather was a boy, my great-great grandmother died. Another house was on the property then, but my grandfather said that the bedroom that's there now was located in the same spot as the room in which my great-great grandmother died. Wild, huh?

Well, maybe you can listen deep into yourself, take a look at your life, ask yourself if you're going into a wrong direction? Maybe your dreams or these voices are just a part of your subconscious that tries to warn you.

Or, maybe, a friendly ghostie is looking for help. (Or, maybe a not-so-friendly one, but I hope not;) My father would recommend praying for the 'poor soul' that hasn't found her peace, paying for a mass for that person (we are Catholic).

Is it always the same girl's voice? Could you try to ask who she is, what she wants and write it down? (Directly, in your mind. Not in the ouija-board sense, I kind of don't like that. But find some techniques for grounding and centering first.)
I really like this link I just found: http://www.psipog.net/activepsy/book2.html

You could be empathic or telepathic and see things in your dreams that really (have) happened. Or you could have picked up your friend's (or her Mum's) feelings and your subconscious only recycled them in your mind.

You could look up 'empath shielding' on Google as advised below by duality in another post. (That's how I found the link above;)

Keep us posted!
